Physiotherapy
Animal physiotherapy is a branch of veterinary medicine that uses manual and instrumental techniques to diagnose and treat functional and injury-related disorders in animals (locomotor or neurological). It aims to improve or restore mobility, manage pain, and speed up recovery after injury, surgery, or chronic illness.
Price: €80 (1 hour for a full assessment at the first appointment)
Package of 6 sessions: €480

Hydrotherapy
Canine hydrotherapy is a form of therapy that uses the properties of water to treat or rehabilitate dogs. It involves performing exercises in water on an underwater treadmill to relieve joints, strengthen muscles and improve mobility.
-
Functional rehabilitation:
Assists in recovery after injury, surgery, or to treat neurological conditions.
-
Muscle strengthening:
Water provides natural resistance that allows you to gently work your muscles without putting strain on your joints.
-
Pain relief:
The buoyancy of water reduces pressure on the joints, thereby relieving pain and inflammation.
-
Weight loss:
Hydrotherapy can facilitate weight loss in dogs by reducing the load on their joints.
-
Improved mobility and coordination:
Aquatic exercises can help improve dogs' balance, gait and coordination.
Price per session: €55
Package of 6 sessions: €300

Laser
Laser therapy in animals is a non-invasive veterinary technique that uses light beams of different wavelengths to stimulate the body's natural healing processes. It can be used to treat a variety of conditions, including injuries, osteoarthritis, and to aid in post-operative recovery by reducing pain and inflammation and promoting tissue healing.

Laser therapy works by delivering light energy to the tissues, which stimulates cellular activity, improves blood circulation, reduces inflammation, and promotes tissue regeneration. It is often used as an alternative or complement to traditional treatments.
Price per session: €35
Package of 6 sessions: €192

The other treatments offered are complementary.
Gentle massages help to relax certain painful areas of the animal and provide a feeling of well-being.
Electrostimulation is a therapeutic technique that uses electrical impulses to stimulate muscles and nerves in animals. It is used to relieve pain, improve muscle strength, promote rehabilitation after injury, and restore coordination.
Electrostimulation is painless, but the animal may feel a slight tingling sensation or muscle contraction under the electrodes, but this is generally not unpleasant.
-
TENS (Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulation):
Mainly used for pain relief. Electrical impulses help block pain signals transmitted to the brain.
-
NMES (Neuromuscular Electrical Stimulation):
Used to strengthen muscles (following muscle wasting). Electrical impulses cause muscle contractions, helping to improve muscle strength, mass and tone.
